Meg Upshaw and Bill Anderson
Their Story!
Bill and Meg met through a close mutual friend named Craig(slist).
Way back in winter 2005-6, Bill posted a want ad on Craigslist for a lovely chica who would enjoy the finer things in life, such as the theater, as well as have fun tearing up the mountain.
While Meg was no back-country hound, she loved to ski, and she had a place in her heart for musicals. So, while perusing the various desperate pleas for companionship on Craigslist (an entertaining daily ritual with her coworkers), she stumbled upon Bill's ad and took a chance.
After a successful yet nerve-wracking first date at Produce Row on February 13, 2006, their relationship took off. Their first kiss came on date two, under the Cascade Chair at SkiBowl. That May they took their first big trip together, to Costa Rica, and 8 months later they were living together.
Nearly two years after that first kiss, on January 19, 2008, Bill led Meg down that same ski run (well, actually the run next to it, as high school ski racers had taken over the run under the lift), popped off his skis, got down on one knee, and asked Meg to be his wife. In a combination of shock and joy, Meg blurted out "of course," as though Bill should have known he didn't even need to ask.
